Mission 127:3 was inspired by a LEO named Jeffrey who shared with us his heartfelt desire to provide comfort to a scared child on a tough call. We launched this mission to make it possible for every LEO working the streets to be able to reach into their trunk and provide a comforting toy to children in difficult moments.
Through our initiative, Mission 127:3, inspired by Psalm 127:3—“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him”—Walking with Warriors seeks not only to provide immediate comfort to children but also to offer spiritual support and understanding for the officers who serve on the front lines. We recognize that witnessing these traumatic situations can leave lasting moral injury on our law enforcement community.
By placing a plush animal in an officer’s trunk, we aim to achieve two vital purposes: first, to help a frightened child feel safe in their darkest hour, and second, to give the officer or deputy a meaningful way to express compassion and fulfill their desire to comfort and protect, even while grappling with the emotional toll of their service.
It is our sincere hope to supply these plush animals ensuring that every child rescued or displaced encounters a moment of tenderness, and every officer has an avenue to offer care and hope amid tragedy.
Your gift of $100 will help us provide enough plush toys for a police squad. A gift of $500 will help us provide for an entire shift. $2000 will provide for an entire District, which is often about 1/3 of a City or County.
