Mission 127:3 is a reflection of Psalm 127:3 which states, "Children are a gift from the Lord." Through this mission, we help Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) shine the love of God in their communities by providing comfort to children in difficult times.
Mission 127:3 was inspired by a LEO named Jeffrey who shared with us his heartfelt desire to provide comfort to a scared child on a tough call. We launched this mission to make it possible for every LEO working the streets to be able to reach into their trunk and provide a comforting toy to children in difficult moments.
While handing out our first batch of Mission 127:3 plush toys, a police officer shared with us how he wished he had these when they had to wait for hours for social services to arrive after a young mother was murdered in the road, her young child asleep in the car.
Can you imagine how this will not only comfort the child, but help the officer? We are truly thankful and blessed to all of you who help make our mission a success! We always try to fill the need that God brings in front of us, and helping comfort a child through the hands of a police officer is a very special opportunity.
Your gift of $100 will help us provide enough plush toys for a police squad. A gift of $500 will help us provide for an entire shift. $2000 will provide for an entire District, which is often about 1/3 of a City or County.
